What do you think?

I was trying to make something meaningful out of this... did it work?

1. Expectations
2. Dramatizations
3. Reality

1. Full makeup
2. Ruined makeup
3. Natural

Notice how each photo gets further out, as the real representation of the human state becomes deeper?  Unintentional, but very interesting.

Yes, these pictures were taken in my bathroom.  Yes, I used Photoshop to get the same unsaturation.

Trends.

So, this isn't really for you guys out there, but if you like it, whatevs.

Can we talk about trends this summer?  Like a "love it or leave it" type thing?

KAYYY

Love it:

  • tribal prints
  • lace shirts
  • turquoise/coral
  • colored shorts
Leave it:
  • bright neon pink.  sorry chicks, I just don't think it works.
  • peter pan collars.  they look restricting? idk...
  • full length rompers.  back to the old days with footie pajamas, eh?
So those are myyy thoughts for the evening.  Nothing more, nothing less.

Hey, figured out a "creative" way to end this post.  Actually, kind of lame-o, but it'll have to do.  So my new extended family is over visiting and I feel painfully young.  There's my dad, his fiance, his parents, her mom, her two daughters.  They're both amaaaazingly gorgeous, but there's a weird age gap between us; about 5 years with one and 7 with the other.

ANYWAY, tonight, I really am the youngest.

MDJ.  The three letters that throw fear into the heart of...

No.  Just no.  I'm not here to write some beautiful prose about math.

Let's start over.

Math Discoveries Journal.  Being real here, it doesn't throw fear into anything.  It just sucks.

So our teacher gives us these questions about math, usually about how whatever we're studying relates to the real-life.

My answer?  It doesn't.

What do I turn in?  Some crazy BS that puts the little check in the box and makes her happy.

Math is... well, math.  I might get it in class (or at least pretend I do) but the moment I get home and start my homework, ZOOM.Out the window it goes.

Now, I guess I'll go along with it.

Zoom off into dream land, fellow youngsters, and remember--tonight, we are young.
